37 A big wind storm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so much that the boat was already filled. 38 He himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke him up and asked him, “Teacher, don’t you care that we are dying?” 39 He awoke and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” The wind ceased and there was a great calm.
Psalm 23:2-3
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. 3 He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Intro
Still the waters of my restless mind
Leave the weight of yesterday behind
Verse 1
In the quiet of the morning air
Every breath becomes a whispered prayer
Even when the road is veiled in rain
Mercy falls upon the open plain
Breakdown
Peace be still across the rolling deep
You guard the promises You swore to keep
Lead me beside the quiet streams of grace
Where every shadow fades before Your face
Chorus
Stay with me until the shadows fade
In the peace Your promised hands have made
Every heartbeat anchored in Your light
Guiding me across the longest night
Outro
Anchored in Your holy light
Peace be still across the night
What the passage means
In Mark 4, a violent storm threatens to swamp the disciples' boat while Jesus sleeps; he wakes, says "Peace! Be still!" and the wind and waves fall calm. It is commonly read as showing Jesus' authority over nature and as an invitation to trust him when afraid. Psalm 23's picture of the shepherd leading his sheep beside still waters adds the theme of rest and restoration.
